LTRC offers
students the option of employing a unique
approach to Korean language learning in which
the Korean alphabet [Hangul] and the vowel
and the consonant sounds are learned simultaneously
(see chart below).
The charts shown above help link the sounds
of the Korean language to colors in the mind
of the student. This enables the student to
more easily employ his or her own initiative
when understanding Korean grammatical structure.
This student - centered approach is structured
in such a way that, as students gain language
competence, they speak in classroom - while
the instructor speaks less. Because of this
increased emphasis on the role of the student
it became known as the "Silent Way".
The "Silent Way" is just one of
a wide range of teaching methods employed
by LTRC. LTRC
considers your own individual language requirements
and learning style and we tailor our lesson
plans accordingly, to best meet your needs. |
